In reply to UKC Gear: We have come a long way in boot design from the 1970 when i first hit the hill,s ,the new materials the different use,s of a boot & this one look,s a cracker,but its not the boot that makes the mountaineer but it sure help,s i look forward to reviews on these baby,s .

quality pair of boots, used them new last season, excellent performance; although you need to be really careful when choosing crampons because of the slight flex in the sole. a definite keeper
