Twitter not working

It seems that twitter.com is down at the moment ... or is my computer playing up? Are others having the same problem?

Couldn't care less about Twitter being down but I'm apalled by the use of the word 'outage'. Whatever happened to 'breakdown' 'fault' malfunction' etc.
