I need to arrange a decent bunkhouse for an ML training.

There will be approx 10 people in total and the bunkhouse needs to have a decent lounge type area that can double as a classroom, have a drying room and be fairly central to Ogwen and the Pass. Looking around £15 per person / night .

Any ideas welcome.

You could try Blue Peris mountain centre as they have a small bunk house type building (white Peris)

In reply to jezb1: Gwydyr MC have a hut in Capel that you can sometimes book. It has a lounge and a drying room, and is dirt cheap:

We've just refurbished parts of our hut, it's £10 per night for non-members. Based in Deiniolen. Both the kitchen and the lounge are big enough for 10+ people, but we don't have a whiteboard (or similar) at the hut. We have a decent drying room. Details here:

Try Caban Cysgu www.cabancysgu-gerlan.co.uk. I know that quite a few ML training courses are run from there.

In reply to jezb1: I thought so.. not certain though, I thought it was being built last time I was up there which was a fair time ago now. Must have been a year ago now.. last summer.

In reply to IainRUK: I was there in feb last year and don't recall a specific drying room.

In reply to gingerdave13: No but I know he had one planned in the building on the pass side, the left as you look..

In reply to IainRUK: sure, sorry just meant that it wasn't there when i was - no doubt it was a summer project (possibly?)

I thought it was a pretty good gem of a place. Can't remember how much we all paid, but don't recall it being exorbitant.
