I'm off with my son for a first ever climb together on Stanage Edge at the weekend. I've been several times before, but always been 'delivered' there by friends who have driven. Does anybody have any advice for parking and approach to High Neb? I don't think I've been to that area before and am concerned about parking. We aim to arrive early Saturday morning. Many thanks. Lloyd
In reply to Lloyd Clark:
I'm sure you won't have a problem; there's a fairly large parking area at the bend on Coggers Lane at the start of the Causeway; can't see it being too busy early Saturday.
In reply to Lloyd Clark: As hat dude said park at the causeway end of stanage, the parking area is called 'Dennis knoll'. Last two weekends have been really busy at stanage so if the weather is good don't expect it to be quiet. If high neb is busy walk along to crow chin where it tends to be quieter and has some good easier routes.
