Hi all. I'm off to Nagoya for work related reasons though have a few days spare in which to explore, and was wondering if anyone knows of any bouldering areas near to the city? Cheers.

In reply to Santas Little Helper: Don't know anywhere near to Nagoya but if you're flying in and out of Tokyo, Mitake is only a couple of hours away by train. The bouldering is a few minutes walk from the train station and there's a place to rent mats too.

Mitake is not really worth the effort to be honest. Best to do a few routes at Yugawara, Makuyama Koen instead. 1.5 hr from Tokyo.

Nagano is 4hr from Nagoya. There is bouldering at Ogawayama. Definitely worth the effort if you have time. Will be v cold there at this time of the year.
