Front points are quite long and sometimes feel precarious front point on small rock features in my experience. Feels like your a mile away from the rock! They seem to work OK!

They are fairly adjustable and IIRC for mixed I had them set-up with the point in its rearward setting and the toe-bail in its forward setting. That was the exact opposite of when doing Alpine ice with ski-mountaineering boots.
