So does Tower Rib (winter) go up the left or right hand side of Tower Gully?

It's definitely the left (stood at the bottom looking up). Done it in summer.

In reply to Andy Mountains: left. Think golden girl Ali goes to the
Right of tower rib and stays in the corners and ledges on the
Left wall above tower gully. Most people tend to do the first pitch of Ali and traverse left on to rib before the crux of Ali. Both excellent routes.
