Previous threads indicate that of various networks, Vodafone gives on average the best coverage for the mountains and valleys (ie not the various villages) of N Snowdonia (Snowdon/Ogwen/Carneddau). Anyone disagree before I get new sim ?

I'd for Orange as it works in Beddgelert, Capel Curig, Ogwen Valley area as well as generally everywhere else.

Always had good reception with Vodafone in N Wales. Can't give you any particular 'not-spots'. Are you going to register the number to www.emergencysms.org.uk as suggested on here and by the SMC. It allows you to text to 999 in poor signal areas.
