i'm looking for advice, i need to buy a static rope to for use in an activity centre. while doing research i found a Mammut Performance Static 10.5mm on cheap-rope.co.uk ( http://cheaprope.rtrk.co.uk/?scid=42553&kw=7228815&pub_cr_id=266669... ).

200meters for £290, that is a bargain but is it to good to be true? are the ropes / website genuine?

IME it is not very hard wearing - we took it down some canyons in the USA and it had a core shot by the end of the trip (the lighter but burlier specialist canyon rope lasted well, but was more than twice the price)
