Im planning on taking a couple of people out on sunday to introduce them to climbing on rock. I have a copy of western grit and was planning on going to windgather as it seems to be an ideal location. Was wondering if there was another option which would be less exposed as the forecast is for a fairly windy day.
Any suggestions for suitable alternatives would be much appreciated.
In reply to Iron Face: Not the prettiest of places but Hobson Moor Quarry could work. There's a few easier routes there. I remember 'pocket wall' being nice. Sheltered & quick drying too.
