Via ferrata gear

Hi,
We are looking at doing some Via Ferrata in Austria in May and I'm wondering what via ferrata set would be best to buy.
There has been stories of kit being recalled etc - any guidance on the gear to buy and the gear to avoid would be appreciated

Having seen what steel cables can do to alloy crabs, I bought a CT Top Shell set, which I have no complaints with.
