Hi

Just putting a message out there to see if anyone had been out to morocco to do ice/winter/alpine climbing. Trying to work out what time of year would be best to go, cost of living when out there and so forth.

Any information welcome.

In reply to redshapedfriday: Went mountaineering & ice climbing in mid Feb this year for a week VIA easyjet m'chester to marakesh. Stayed in CIF hut, toubkal. Arranged everything using local company, spent 260 pound total on food, accomodation, mules, cook and guide exclusion flight, fantastic value for money. We were a large group of 10.

Not much snow when there but good ice and cold clear weather.

Prices's sound good, did you hire a guide when you were out there or had you pre planned where you wanted to climb? Also did you hire a car or use public transport to get into the atlas mountains?

I was thinking of going in December don't know if that would have more snow?
