Hey my ropes have dried, probably due to the amount of use they have had over winter and they are pretty hardened making it difficult to use. Anyone got any tips to make it nice a supple again? I have had them for less than a year!

In reply to samsimpson:

Throw them in a washing machine on a cold short wash with some natural soap. Come out like new

In reply to xplorer: need daisy chaining or put in pillow case to prevent twisted knot nightmare if using washing machine.

In reply to samsimpson: Give them a good tumble dry after they've been washed (take the filter out if it has one, mine got gummed up with rope wash residue)

In reply to samsimpson:
put the machine on an empty boil wash first and wash out the detergent drawer first to get rid of any residues.

Personally I wouldn't tumble dry my ropes.

In reply to samsimpson: I usually just run a couple of rinse cycles on our machine, before putting my ropes in on the rinse cycle. I then air dry them. I've never had any problems doing this.
