Hi,

I have been looking for a new down sleeping bag, looking for something that goes down to 0 ish. looking to use it for general UK, alpine summer bivi. would like it to be as small and light as possible

So far looking like the alpkit sh600

Looked at the rab 500 as well. (which was on offer last week for £150, but missed out on it.)

any other recommendations for a good bag at a good price?

In reply to the ant hill mob: Try the hangar 18 ORR site - 450g bags down to 0 comfort. Last bank holiday they had all their sleeping bags half price Unfortunately not now but I believe they are bringing out some new bags in the future so may do another good deal on old stock if they are launching new designs?

I've got the Rab Ascent 500, cracking bag (got mine for £99 when GoOutdoors had it on short-term offer).

Keep your eye on the clearance section of Joe Brown's website, he has some great deals on there.
