Hi,
Does anyone out there own or has tried out these crampons?
Are they any good for AD routes in the Alps? (with some rock)
As they are half the weight of most other crampons on the market, they are quite tempting (if durable enough).
Cheers,
Pete.
In reply to Pete23: these are designed for ski touring and easy snow/glacier routes. Try to stay off rock with these. My mate wore these pons on the midi plan traverse and the cosminques arĂȘte and after this they were woren out. They are made from aluminium.
