Climber, award-winning author, big wall guru and comedy genius (he tells me) Andy Kirkpatrick gave a fascinating insight into his motivations, and reconciling climbing obsession with the rest of life in a radio interview on Saturday.
Andy also discussed the process and struggle of writing - and chose a few tracks of music that have a special resonance with him - most of which we managed to play correctly on the programme...
