Hi,

After a bit of advice on the Totem Pole in Tasmania.

I'm heading to Tas with my g/friend early Jan 14', and am keen to take advantage of being there and climb the totem pole. I'll need to organise someone to climb with as my g/friend isn't be keen!

Has anyone hired a guide in Tasmania before / can recommend anyone?

I'm not sure if anyone guides on the Totem Pole, but your best bet is probably Garry Phillips (www.rcat.com.au).

If you haven't already, you will want to have a look at theSarvo, which is the primary site for Tasmanian climbing. (www.thesarvo.com/confluence/display/thesarvo/Tasmania)
