Converting Grivel GSB crampons to crampo-matic

Hi

just wondering on feedback from anyone who has converted their GSB crampons to crampo-matic. i've just bought the metal bails but to have 2 front points on my grovel g14 crampons is very tight with the spacers. Is it just a case of wrestling with it? Also to have only mono front points, the spacers aren't wide enough. Do you need a further bolt set?

Any advice appreciated.

I did exactly this a long time ago, i had a spare set of spacers from an old set of g14s and just used them again. I think there was a different set of spacer again if you got the asymmetric bar to bring the mono point back on centre. So yes you do need a different set.
