Have heard a couple of recent stories of vandals at the Gap - are any clued up locals able to give their opinion on the situation? If it's a problem - where's best to park?

South Wales? Never had a problem there, you can park just below the crag but you won't be able to see your vehicle, though it's close enough to keep an eye on, if you're concerned

Thats the problem, you cant see your car and it is far enough to be a problem. Mine was broken into there so I don't think there's an easy solution.

Sorry to hear that,and you're right of course-there's no easy solution.But in my (limited) experience, Castle Inn is the only crag that I can think of that would meet the crieria. I try not to leave anything of value in my car,but i appreciate that a broken window is a pain in the proverbial.
