My trekking poles lie fallow for months at a time and tend to sieze up. What's the best lubricant to prevent this occuring? I was thinking of trying dry silicone spray. Anyone found a reliable solution?

Dismantle your poles before storing and spray liberally with GT85

I use it on sliding parts in pinball machines to good effect.

That's basically GT85 but 10x the price!
