Evening,

Thinking of heading to Hurlstone Point tomorrow, looking at Fledgling Slab and Coastguard Wall. Apart from the obvious that is described in the South West Climbs Guidebook and on UKC does anyone have any recommendations for routes? What are the belay stakes like? Does it dry quickly? Anything else I should keep in mind?

Any information gratefully received,

Thanks, Ian

The Pylon King of this parish is your man. I would think the upper slabs would dry quickly and they're not affected by tides. Whilst in the area, Valley of The Rocks is well worth a visit.

Thanks. Well decision made now, going there and will just see what it's like. It looks good, can't understand why I'd never heard of it until now!

Happy Days.
