Any top tips for climbing Easter Island at Dovedale?

Happy for any beta gear etc, just doing it on a flying past visit.

Used to be E2(? my memory is dim).
Don't go L too soon - there's a big thread to aim for; go L after that.
Take lots of small wires (including some larger micros); wouldn't take cams as the cracks are a little parallel and greasy.


Sadly... prepare to be underwhelmed. If you're only passing there may be more satisying objectives.

It is a fairly dreadful route so don't expect too much.

Have to agree. It's a bit novel but there are many better routes in Dovedale and the Manifold.
