Heading to north Wales this weekend for some big easy mulitpitch/ scrambling. Wondering what conditions on the ground are like having seen some snowy pictures of Crib Goch yesterday.

If it is likely to be snowy, does anyone have any suggestions of lower altitude, but long easy routes? Looking for around HS and/or grade 3 scrambles.

Cheers in advance.

Still looked to be a bit of snow on Cloggy earlier this week.

May I suggest The Cracks on Dinas Mot for a good HS? Stiff finish, but you can dodge it anyway.

Very very wet today. Main wall on cyrn las won't be in condition, that's for certain. It's quite windy so exposed ridges would be, Erm challenging.

[To the OP] That's a really good suggestion. Although near to the road, you still feel as though you're in the mountains.

Plus it takes about a day to dry. I reckon it's the "mountain" route I suggest most often! The only way it could be improved is by being on the sunny side of the pass.
