Hi,

Am considering paying Etive slabs a visit this saturday. Would be looking to climb lines like The Hammer and The Pause. Looking at the forecast I know thursday and friday are meant to be dry. I am just wondering if this is enough time for the slabs to dry or will there still be seepage? I know a lot of seepage runs down some of the lines on the crag.
Cheers for any advice.

Is this Caelans mate?

I was there last week, we had a look at the Pause but it was pretty slimy when we were there so we gave it a miss and went up Spartan Slab which was dry enough. Not sure about the hammer though.

Yes it is, did we meet on the ben?

Cheers for that I think it may be a bit damp, I have climbed spartan slab before so not that fussed to go back for that.

I don't think Hammer will be dry.

Hammer has a pretty slow drying wet streak that can make the 3rd pitch pretty tricky/interesting! Should be able to see it from the foot of the crag though.
