North face base camp duffel

Hello,

Could anyone tell me how water proof these duffels are and whether or not they would be suitable to be strapped to the tail of a motorcycle for a road trip.

The material is waterproof but the zip/seams will be the weak point. I wouldn't rely on it

Great kit and customer service. I have the 60 l rucksac but they also do smaller ones and duffel bags now.
