Burbage South EdgeMacleod's Crack (HVD 4a)

Macleod's McCrack

Luke, oh Luke, you'll get the sack,
If you try to take me back,
You really do not have the knack
Of getting up Macleod's crack.

It was slimy, it was green,
It was your name, though that's quite mean,
Never should be touched or seen,
It really was way too obscene.

If you McF**k with that Macleod,
Watch out you do not draw a crowd,
To hear you say bad words out loud,
It will not make you glad or proud,

It is the stuff of misery,
So grimy, green and slippery,
But you went up there just to see,
And what is worse - also took me!

Written at the behest of my partner in grime Mr Luke Green, to commemorate our successful completion of the 'Gritstone Gallop' (12 routes spaced over considerably more than 12 miles and which took a lot longer that 12 hours to complete) on Saturday June 20th 2015. The point of learning from this McEpic McEpisode is that if you drop down from the severe ranges to the VDiffs in the mistaken belief that this will speed things up, they are nearly always HARDER and a lot more mucky and grunty!
