With a promised heatwave on the way, I'm minded to ask for suggestions for cool (as in 'not hot' - but by all means don't shy away from any particularly striking fashion wonders) cycling jerseys. I get pretty sweaty and would like something thin, light and quick-drying - anyone have particular favourites they can recommend? Full zip and short sleeve for preference, but if it's going to be as hot as promised, I'm willing to consider looking like a douche/triathlete and forego the sleeves.

If you are really just concerned about heat and don't mind looking like a triathlete, then a tri top will be your best bet, and potentially a lot cheaper.

A mid range top like this would suit you well (tri tops have much smaller pockets though, you'll be okay with a few gels and essentials but won't get the kitchen sink in there,)

Better for winter, I think.

It would go well with the fixie, too.

Tempting - but where to put the spare inner-tube?
