At 830g per boot the new Phantom Tech is still heavier than the Rebel Ultra GTX ( Though looks a bit warmer and more robust ). What was the reason that the latter boot was discontinued?

Is the Rebel Ultra discontinued? Looks like a very different sort of boot to me. The Phantom Tech looks like it'll replace the Guide, so be a lot warmer than the Rebels. Rebels are a lot more technical.
