Despite being a Rossi fan and willing him all season to success, I think he knew he was beaten and created a drama to hide behind. The event that doesn't fit with his Marquez protecting Lorenzo theory is clearly Philip Island. Marquez could easily have taken Lorenzo out on the final lap and handed Rossi the title. Rossi has then created a situation and clearly Marquez as played up to it in the final race as he clearly could have attacked Lorenzo but chose not to. Rossi only has himself to blame. As I say I am a Rossi fan but ultimately the best rider won the championship. ( However, I could easy be very wrong ??)
