I was thinking of walking Scafell Pike this weekend from Wasdale but seen from weather forecast that visibility maybe poor. It's my first time trying a walk of this type, should I hold off till weather forecast is better or am I worrying over nothing!?

If the objective is to scale the largest mountain in the UK then i'd say go for it. If the objective is to have a pleasant day, taking in views and a beautiful part of the country then maybe hold of.

What do you mean by a walk of this type ?

Sunday looks good, if you are doing it Saturday make sure your navigation and kit is spot on, its going to be foul.

I'd give it a miss. If you're not used to doing these sorts of walks you could easily end up getting hopelessly lost if visibility is bad.

Depends on your experience if you can't navigate in cloud I'd give it a miss.Scafell Pike is a confusing Summit in low cloud plenty of scope to go wrong.

Thanks for the advice, I will probably give it a miss. I'm crap at navigating in cloud on far easier routes 😂 so don't wanna risk getting lost

There was a lot of snow on the high peaks for the last few days too, so that will add to visibility issues and difficulty.
