Is there any dryish rock in the Cairngorms atm? I see things are getting done but most seem to be reporting wet rock to boot. Any advice on where would be best bet to find something dry anyway? Specifically does anyone have any news on the Dubh Loch? Cheers.

In reply to Lamb:

The cliffs on the stag rocks side of loch A'n basin are fast drying (but I guess you know that).

Specific other climbs dry quickly elsewhere such as Scabbard (Although pitch 1 may not be IMO) and Talisman.

Somebody logged The Mousetrap on Saturday but it doesn't sound good.
A relatively quick drying route as well.

Yeah we were one of the teams who climbed Mousetrap on saturday. Pitches 1, 2 and 3 had the odd wet spots but were fine. But 4 and 5 were pretty wet. The Final crack on 5 was sopping, had to go right and up another short crack which again was fairly wet.

Its been dry in Deeside this week though.
