Winter Skills Lecture Series, by The North Face, Glenmore Lodge and Ellis Brigham
This series of four talks running in London, Bristol, Manchester and Fort William, will cover a wide range of topics to help you enjoy and safely make the most of your time in the mountains this winter.
The talks are a chance to gain some valuable tips that will help you explore the mountains when they are arguably at their most magical.
We'll be joined by two experienced mountaineers to help navigate you through the dangers that exist, and offer advice on what can be done should something go wrong.
Senior Instructor at Glenmore Lodge, Derek Bain, will talk about crucial winter skills to prepare you for your adventures, and we'll be joined by The North Face Athlete Andy Houseman who will recount his recent expedition to Link Sar in the Pakistan Karakoram.
