Just heard from a Greek friend who lives in Athens that the strike has been called off.

I'll go back to thinking about climbing instead of trying to work out how to get west of Greek airspace by land!

I can't guarantee it's 100% true but my friend works at the airport, so I'd be reasonably confident. Trouble is I cancelled my flights 30 minutes earlier and rebooked for Antalya....
