Thinking about doing Beinn Narnain tomorrow. Train times mean we need to do it in about 3.5 hours. 4 absolute max. We're reasonably fit compared to your average hill walker, but not particularly fit.... basically, will a brisk walk with out much stopping do it?
Unfortunately can't find a route description with time (they're all for Beinn Narnain and Beinn ime together: 6-7 hours)
Danger by name, danger by nature . Take a chance and don't be condescending to an average hill walker. Do you feel lucky?

In reply to Dave the Rave: Haha! Very un-dangerous - reference to being a bit ginger https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Ginger_Man - and quite unlucky. Not sure that's condescending to the average hill walker... I've met him, he's not very fit, know's it, and is quite comfortable with that.

It's certainly possible to do it in that sort of time at a fast walk from the normal car park at the West side of Arrochar, but you'd really be pushing it if you mean to do it walking from/to Tarbet train station.
