Can't comment on the Dufur specifically, but I've has Zamberlan B2's in the dim distant past and they were excellent quality. As always with boots fit is all important. If its a choice between these and Mantas I'd always go with whichever fit best rather than worrying about popularity or other peoples opinions. Probably worth trying on a few alternatives as well if you can.
