My youngest son starts work in Mold on 13th February and is looking for a place to live from around 11th February. He is a civil engineer and is well into climbing. He's trying the usual letting agencies and spare room on line. Any ideas gratefully received. No luck so far by the normal routes.

airbnb might be good for a few weeks while he works and searches for somewhere more long term. That's what I'm doing when moving to Canada in a few days. It'll cost more than a proper rental, but if you're lucky it won't be exorbitant.

Has he tried looking for places in Chester? I used to work in Mold with other graduates years ago, and we all lived in Chester. It is only 15 minutes away.
