Really? I thought it looks hideous (JCB yellow, what?!) and the shape is very similar to the Petzl womens Elia helmet and from the back looks like a turtle shell.

The fist salamander was a great helmet that just fitted *everyone* really badly. i.e. it just rolled back on peoples heads leaving the forehead exposed. I would much rather have seen them fix this issue and keep the relatively heavy duty design (fully foam lined) of the older model.
