Light weight soft shell trousers

My favorite pair of trousers have finally given up the ghost, with an epic crotch malfunction.
The were mountain hardwear ridge top pants (trousers) they don't seem to make them any more or anything in that fabric. Does anyone have a suggestion for a suitable replacement?
I have had 3 pairs of them over the last 11 years.

If you described the fabric style and features they had, it might help people make suitable suggestions; they're probably not familiar with discontinued product.

I'd usually suggest Decathlon, since they have decent but cheap soft shell trousers of various styles, e.g. Forclaz 500 or Simond Rock Pants.

Do you still have any of your older pairs from which you could cut some fabric to repair your newer pair?

Waste not want not.

I've searched for men's, medium and small by the way (if you are after large).

E.g. the ME Comici is light.
