Plans to restart quarrying near Cambusbarron (and thereby destroy the climbing at Thornton's and Fourth Quarries) have been rejected.

Excellent news, thanks for posting. I had been wondering what the latest developments were after the initial thread announcing the possibility of quarrying restarting here.
