hi

i am based in norwich and i am looking to get out on the hills in the peak district and lakes and was wondering if anyone in East anglia could help out with some trips?

looking to do some walks to take my ml training so just need to brush up some skills, been hill walking for 6 years on and off

anyone who can help then let me know!

only asking for help from east anglia as i would like to get to know more local people and help with transport!
happy to pay towards petrol cost!

Have a look at the Norwich to Liverpool train (can't recall who runs it now) as it stops in Sheffield. Whilst at uni I used to book my tickets home as soon as they became available and Manchester to Ely was about £18 return, so should imagine Sheffield to Norwich around the same (plus 10 years of price rises..). It doesn't help with knowing anyone but should take some of the burden off transport issues for solo trips!
