Black Diamond Vector sizing

Buying a new helmet and like the look of the vector helmet ,

my head is 58.5 cm and the S/M small is 53-59cm .

Should I accept my head is big and buy the M/L or will the small fit me correctly?

I'm a 58 and take a S/M BD Vapour (with a bit to spare) if that's any help. Small volume goes much better under a hood.
