Hi All,
We are Chelmsford Mountaineering Club, along standing active BMC affiliated club who would love to own a hut, but sadly we do not.
Having spoken to various folk, it seems that there are a number of clubs who own huts who now struggle with their huts being underused.
So we would like to know if there are any clubs out there who would like to share or allow us to use their hut as a club who has reciprocal rights would do?
We would help contribute to maintenance and hut up keep, but would have no ownership as such unless this was required.
In essence we are willing to talk to any club that would consider this idea and see if we can find an agreeable arrangement that would benefit both clubs.
