GG Mondet has posted that he's now been included in the French Team squad ahead of Meiringen next week as Manu Cornu has been involved in a bad car accident... Anyone know if this is true?

If so that is sad news, he was looking really strong at the CWIF ahead of this years World Cup season.

Turns out it was a joke. It was a bit odd and if it was a joke I assumed GG probably would not have tagged all his sponsors in the original post.

Tells you a lot about what kind of person he is.

Another April fool. I wouldn't have minded seeing GG back in the comps though. He was always entertaining to watch and usually did pretty well.

Line up for the first comp is looking pretty good anyway. 10 Brits entered, 9 Americans inc Margo Hayes and Megan Mascarenas (but no Ashima, Nathanial Coleman or Puch), Janja Garnbret, millions of Japanese, 2 Koreans, and many more. Looking forward to it.
