Shoes for High Mileage?

Hi everyone,

Has anyone found any makes/models of rock boots that stand up to lots of use? After something for training mileage.

Look for some that have thicker rubber or get some old ones resoled.

I tend to just pick up cheap ones from a popular auction site. Last few pairs of shoes I've picked up weren't used and ranged from £10-£30.

Resoles seem to last a lot longer for me than original rubber, not sure why- I presume either a harder compound or a thicker layer.

I'll definitely get these new ones resoled when the time comes. My current pair are a pretty poor fit hence the change.

I'll look at those 5.10s.
