Anyone had any experience of getting phantom guides resoled? If so, anyone managed to get the original soles? Cheshire shoe company have informed me that they could only replace the soles with the Mulaz or Teton soles which are a bit different.

My new phantom techs are currently being resoled by scarpa with phantom guide sole as part of warranty. Contact mountain boot company

So, it is true that the soles of Phantom Techs wear out quickly?

I wonder if the same problem applies to the Phantom 6000 I just ordered...

These haven't really got a warranty issue though. They're just worn out from years of use, just reckon the uppers have still not kicked the bucket and don't fancy shelling out £500 for boots that won't last a season.

I'll try the mountain boot company (thanks for the recommendation) but suspect they'll want to charge more than the regular resole places.
