Have had and managed over a few years inner knee pain which comes and goes. I can run, walk and climb generally with no issues. What does aggravate it is walking upstairs and I end up limping around! I went fell walking this weekend and for whatever reason it seems to have got worse. I'm wearing a knee brace for extra support but concerned as to what the issue maybe?
Any ideas please?
Meant to be going to the Alps in August so if rest is required....

I'm not a doctor or physio, so don't take any advice from me, but symptoms sound similar to something I had fixed last year.

Thanks Gav

When you say fixed do you mean something intrusive?

In reply to Gav Parker:

Do you drive a manual car or worse, a manual diesel? How many times does your poor knee have to push that heavy clutch in a trip to work?

Get a Skoda or a VW with the wonderful DSG and within a couple of weeks your knee will have recovered.
