Does anyone have experience of returning defective items to crumpler?

The buckle on my bag snapped after 4 weeks. Crumpler are pointing me in the direction of Crumpler EU who just don't seem interested. Thier website doesn't get me much further and simply refers me to the email address I am already contacting.

If you're in the UK, your contract is with the retailer, not the manufacturer. Return it to the retailer.
