Hi,
I know weather and conditions affect the little blighters, are they out in force yet? How daft an idea is the grit at the moment? They drive me to distraction, so I'd rather not drive 3 hrs for death by a million midges.
Ukc must have a man on the ground!
I was at The Roaches (lower and spring boulders) yesterday, Ramshaw on Saturday, and Newstones/Baldstones for the previous two weekends.
Very few around at all at any of the crags, I've got about 3 bites and usually I get eaten alive if there are any of the critters at all!
Enjoy
Thankyou, there looks to be slight wind and some humidity with a little cloud tomorrow, perfect if they're around, for midges.
Maybe the more exposed edges are still ok atm.
