Campsite recommendation

I am after a recommendation for a campsite

Peak district
Suitable for tents and campers
Has space for a few young lads to play football
Has some good walks from the campsite that would entertain the few young lads - woods/stream etc
Allows a BBQ

Basically for my sons birthday he wants to go camping with 4 friends!!! They are 10 years old

The one at Bamford (near the station) is pretty good, not cheap for campers, but well located, actually not sure about the space for football, it's not massive.

I've used a very basic farmers field in Edale, which would fit the bill, but that was about 10 years ago.

Basically, google is your friend here.

The space to play football is the issue IMO.
People aren't going to be pleased with balls smacking the side of there tents when sites are getting busier this time of year.

That's probably why there's not a lot of replies to this .

How about the one between bakewell and Monyash (can't remember the name of it) big fields , loads of space for football etc and situated just above lathkil dale

Wyming Brook Farm
Excellent stream walks in Wyming Brook.
Don't know about BBQ, but the Three Merry Lads has a playground, and the nearby Sportsman has football pitches.
And about 45 mins walk to Stanage!
