Arcteryx Lakeland Revival Route Cards

This year's Lakeland Revival includes a good number of suggested big days out linking a number of routes, often on different crags with some good walking between them. To reduce the need to carry a guidebook the FRCC has produced a number of route cards/leaflets derived from their superb guidebooks. Each card gives approach details, usually with a map, route description and associated photo-diagrams and, where necessary, details of the descent route(s). The best bit is that these are free to download from the climbing area of their website! www.frcc.co.uk/rock-climbing/arcteryx-lakeland-revival-2017/

We've climbed some of the routes this year, but haven't taken part in the scheme itself, as you now have to register in advance at one of the participating shops, as well as afterwards. This might work for locals, but is a waste of time for visiting climbers.

We've also had that problem. Some kind of online submission form would make a lot more sense and probably get more folk involved?

We weren't told we needed to register. They better not refuse to give us our t-shirts.

I didn't 'pre-register' and it didn't matter. The climbers shop Ambleside didn't seem to have a problem with me rocking up and showing them a picture!
